Wii Fun

The lighting is not great in these videos as I took them with my cell phone BUT I had to get a little clip of Ryan's first time on the Wii. I so wish I would have thought to pick up my phone when Ryan and Daenon were playing a game. Tessa showed Ryan a trick when Daenon wasn't looking and he rocked with that move. It was hilarious!

Papa is pretty good on the wii too. It was fun watching him play baseball with Daenon. The videos are long but I thought you might want to have for posterity!

Cross Stitch

So when I was at the airport last June in Arizona, Daenon hands me this picture of a cross stitch when I was standing in the check-in line outside. Does anyone know its background? All I know of it is that I have seen it before! I looked it up and the phase comes from Arkansas and apparently it is some motto they used. The phrase sort of bugs me because I think one would choose to be more than just "content". Maybe one of you guys can explain it to me better.

I Ate an Avacado on the 13th...

So we were at a cozy little cabin in the woods on mother's birthday. I brought an avacado and shared it with Brady. It reminded me of the many times I would see mom sitting in her comfy chair snacking on a delicious half of one. I wonder if they celebrate in Heaven? Fun thoughts. Happy Birthday Mother.
